All you need to know about RSS

Everytime I tell someone, who is not really familiar with blogs that I check nearly 400 weblogs every day, he thinks I am nuts. Then I try to explain RSS, which usually takes a lot of time, gets him bored rather quickly and very often, I have my doubts wether I get across why I am not nuts!? But here comes the solution: RSS in Plain English!

If you still don't know what all the fuzz about RSS and webfeeds is about, why and how you could/should use it, just spent 3:40 minutes and watch this clip...
There are two types of Internet users, those that use RSS and those that don't. This video is for the people who could save time using RSS, but don't know where to start.

New eBook: Unleash the Power of RSS

Rok Hrastnik, from MarketingStudies.net, has written an eBook on a very interesting subject:
Unleash the Marketing & Publishing Power of RSS
A Marketer's Guide to Taking Maximum Advantage of RSS

Rok was so kind to provide me with a complimentary copy of it. Unfortunately I couldn't find the time to read it from "cover to cover" yet. So I can't post a complete review right now. But yesterday, during a 4 hour train trip, I flipped through it and really liked what I saw. It looks very complete: from defining what RSS is exactly (including the technical aspects, but in a way that's easy to understand!) to how to use it for marketing purposes. The eBook also includes 35 very recent interviews with industry experts.

So if you are in marketing and want to know what this RSS thing is all about, check out this book...
